Build leadership skills with a scholarship from MFU to attend REAL Montana

Montana Farmers Union is pleased to announce a $2,500 scholarship for an MFU member selected to the REAL Montana program to help defray the total $3,500 cost of participating in the two-year leadership program.

Applications are open now through March 31 for Resource Education and Agriculture Leadership Montana. The program is a public/private partnership through Montana State University Extension, which partners with private organizations and businesses, including Montana Farmers Union, to build a network of informed and engaged leaders to advance the natural resource industries in Montana.

Each class of up to 20 participants is competitively selected to participate in eight in-state seminars and a weeklong seminar in Washington, D.C., with a 10-day international trip. During seminars, participants receive leadership training, educational tours, and networking opportunities, learning about current industry topics.
