Convention is where members come together to discuss policy priorities for the 2027 Legislative Session, participate in educational workshops, elect organizational leadership, and build lasting connections with fellow producers and rural advocates.

Convention Weekend

Thursday, October 15

Pre-Convention Agriculture Tours

Kick off Convention with guided tours of area agricultural operations.

  • MSU research facilities and research farms
  • Transportation provided; limited to 80 participants
  • Bus departs GranTree Inn at 1:00 p.m.
  • Tour approximately 1–5 p.m.
  • Farm-to-table dinner follows the tour at the Bozeman Event Center

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for Montana fall weather.

Friday & Saturday, October 16–17

Convention Sessions

Convention officially begins at 8:45 a.m. Friday.

  • Producer-led policy discussions and voting
  • Educational sessions
  • Board and leadership elections
  • MSU Capstone Project poster presentations
  • Vendor exhibits and networking
  • Montana-made meals
Sunday, October 18

Post-Convention Tours

Wrap up Convention with optional tours of area farms and agricultural operations.

  • Two area farm or ranch tour stops planned
  • Additional details coming soon
  • Carpooling will be organized
  • Transportation is not provided
