Montana Farmers Union has worked more than 100 years to advocate for family farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. MFU supports its members through: Strong education programs for both youth and adults, by advocating member-driven policies and legislation at the state and federal level, and cooperation through producer-owned co-ops.
Montana Farmers Union is founded on the three pillars of Cooperation, Education, and Legislation.
EVENTS AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES and find your place in the community. From local meetings and regional educational
workshops, to women’s conference, state and national conventions, there are year-round opportunities to learn and network with fellow members and their families. MFU also has a youth summer camp focused on cooperative skills, leadership, agriculture, and more. Members receive free access or discounted rates to attend these events.
MAINTAIN YOUR VOICE at the state and national level as a member. MFU advocates for our member-voted priorities at the state and federal level through lobbying and legislative action.
STAY INFORMED and connected to current agricultural issues, news and events. As a member you will receive our quarterly Montana Farmers Union Magazine, our month MT Grassroots newsletter and weekly e-news to stay up to date on current policy issues, legislative updates, event announcements, and more.
MEMBER PERKS AND DISCOUNTS are just another benefit of joining MFU! Perks for members include access to insurance, travel discounts, and retail discounts.
