Farmers Union Community Picnic

Join Montana Farmers Union and Wild Horse Lavender for a farm tour and Farmers Union community picnic.

 Learn about lavender production/ distillation, high tunnel production, precision watering, Dorper sheep management, and edible and medicinal flowers and herbs

10am- 12pm Guided Tour of Farm, gardens and high-tunnels, precision watering, and closing the loop with small farm regenerative ag practices.

+ Learning about medicinal cut flowers and their uses.

+ Dorper sheep management

12 – 2pm It’s an old fashioned locally-sourced  picnic! Games, food, & fun! Lunch is free, but if you bring a homemade pie, you will receive a special gift. Montana Farmers Union Members bring this postcard and take home a free lavender plant.

2 – 4pm Lavender Distillation Demonstration.

Lavender, flower, and veggie u-pick (pending availability). Can’t attend the whole day?  Let Carissa know + grab a map and self-tour the gardens and farm!
