Montana Farmers Union

Washington DC Fly-in

Making your voice heard in the democratic process.

“Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil and you’re a thousand miles from the corn field.”

Bringing Montana Agriculture to Washington

Each year, a group of Montana Farmers Union members and youth visit the Nation’s Capital to meet with Montana’s Congressional delegation and advocate with other members of Congress on behalf of family farmers.

The Washington DC Fly-in gives MFU members an opportunity to bring Montana agriculture’s priorities directly to policymakers and make their voices heard on issues affecting agriculture, rural communities, farms and families.
