Connecting Montanans with Candidates
In 2024, Montana voters elected candidates to two seats on the Montana Supreme Court: Chief Justice and an open Associate Justice position. Montana Farmers Union hosted a candidate forum to give members and the public an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates.

Nonpartisan Candidate Education
Montana Farmers Union has a tradition of providing nonpartisan educational opportunities for members and citizens to meet and learn about candidates for elected office in Montana.
The 2024 Supreme Court Candidate Forum provided candidates an opportunity to discuss their backgrounds and perspectives and allowed participants to learn more about those seeking election to Montana's highest court.
Judicial candidates and elected judges are limited in the types of questions they may answer regarding specific matters that could come before the Court.
