Montana Farmers Union is excited for the 111th Annual Convention in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. From discussing policy priorities for the 2027 Legislature to producer education workshops, MFU brings members together to build a network you can lean on while celebrating the joys — and challenges — of rural and agricultural life. Leadership elections will be held for board seats and organizational roles, including conductor and doorkeeper.

Celebrate family farm agriculture and rural living with MFU in Bozeman this fall, Oct. 15 - Oct. 18, 2026. We can't wait to welcome you!
Members will have the chance to discuss and vote on bylaws, elect organizational leaders, review policy, partake in educational workshops, network, and enjoy delicious Montana food.

- Pre-Convention ag tours on Thursday, Oct. 15
- Locations to be announced soon!
- Transportation is provided, with 80 seats available.
- A farm to table dinner will follow LOCATION TO BE ADDED.
- The tour will run from about 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (bus will load at the Best Western GranTree Inn at 12:45)
- Please wear footwear appropriate for walking around outside. We encourage folks to prepare for cooler temps as well with jacket, hat, and gloves.
- MFU Convention official kick-off at 9 a.m. on Oct. 16
- Producer-members will discuss, review, and vote on MFU policy.
- Education sessions on agriculture, coops, food systems, rural mental health, beginning farmer and rancher resources and more.
- Election of board members and leadership
- Poster Presentations and chat with MSU CAPSTONE PROJECTS!!!!

- Meet with vendors and expand your network
- Kids Day Camp - Free and Available with pre-registration (ages 5-12).
