World renowned National Geographic Photographer Jim Richardson to headline Montana Farmers Union State Convention
Montana Farmers Union is pleased to announce photojournalist and story teller Jim Richardson, known for his work for National Geographic, will share his passion for photography and agriculture at the 2017 state convention to take place October 20-21 in Great Falls at the Heritage Inn.
Jim Richardson photographs aspects of the world that many of us take for granted — food production and agriculture, native grasslands, night skies, and life in remote places. He has photographed more than 45 stories for National Geographic Magazine and its sister publication, TRAVELER. Keynote lectures have taken him around the world, from London speaking to audiences for The Economist to the Chilean desert for the Noche Zero Dark Sky Forum. He also is a cultural enrichment lecturer for National Geographic Expeditions at sea and around the world by air. Richardson’s work has been featured on programs from ABC “Nightline” and “The Martha Stewart Show” to CBS News “Sunday Morning.” More of his work can be seen at jimrichardsonphotography.com, on Instagram at @JimRichardsonNG, and on Facebook at “Jim Richardson, Photographer.”
