Industrial Hemp is changing the landscape of agriculture in Montana. A pilot program through the Montana Department of Agriculture has allowed for permitting to grow iHemp. There is much to be learned about the growth, harvesting, processing and legal process to apply for the program. Join us June 13 @ 6:30 pm in the Dawson Community College Auditorium. Ian Foley with the Montana Department of Agriculture will talk about the permitting process, Jeff Kostuik of Hemp Genetics International of Canada will talk about the growth, harvesting and processing of the project and producer Colby Johnson will share his experiences of growing the crop.
