Each Fall Montana Farmers Union holds its annual convention. Members from throughout the state attend the event to vote on bylaws, policy, enjoy educational workshops, see old friends and meet new ones. The annual convention always features a great lineup of speakers and family friendly entertainment. Bring the whole family and utilize the Youth Day Camp available at no extra cost throughout Convention.

After working with the agency for 32 years. Watson now leads NRCS operations in Montana, including the administration of conservation technical assistance to private landowners, conservation financial assistance programs, conservation easement programs, the Natural Resources Inventory, water supply forecasting, soil survey mapping, and the Plant Materials Center in Bridger.

2022 Elections: Join MFU leadership! 

Board positions to be voted during the 2022 Convention: Vice President & Directors for Districts 2, 6, and 5/6 At-Large. To run for an elected position, Nomination Forms must be returned by August 30. Accompanying each form must be 5 signatures from members in that district.

Members approved by the elections committee to vote by mail must return a postmarked ballot at least 7 days prior to Convention.
