Students from Fort Benton & Roy recipients of MFU’s 2016 Scholarships
Great Falls, MT- Montana Farmers Union is proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipients. MFU offers seven scholarships each year totaling $3,000. This year’s winners were selected because of their outstanding contributions to the organization as youth leaders. The recipients are Alana Green and Lauren Arnst from Fort Benton and Hayley Siroky from Roy. All three recipients have served as deans for MFU’s Arrowpeak Summer Leadership Camp.
Alana Green received the Montana Farmers Union Scholarship, Chouteau County Scholarship and the John Korsbeck Memorial Scholarship. Alana attends the College of Great Falls and is studying to become a physical therapy assistant. Alana attended MFU’s Arrowpeak Summer Leadership Camp for several years.
Lauren Arnst is also a recipient of the Montana Farmers Union Scholarship, the Chouteau County Scholarship and the John Korsbeck Memorial Scholarship. Lauren attended Fort Benton High School and is now a student at Montana State University. She attributes her strong leadership skills to be a result of her involvement with MFU as a camp dean.
