Things to know about camp!

Check in Time: Camp registration begins at 4:00 pm each Sunday.  Please do not arrive early as another group will be using the facility until our scheduled arrival time. There is no need to arrive early to grab a bunk because one will be provided to each camper.

Check Out Time: Camp ends at 11:00 am each Friday. Please have campers picked up no later than 11:30 am.

Parents: If you will be joining your camper and staying the final night of camp, please be aware that no campers will be dismissed until camp has been cleaned adequately.

Co-op Store

Each year at our camps, we have a Cooperative Store that is owned and managed by the campers. Each camper is required to buy at least one share in the Co-op Store. The cost per share is 25 cents. The Co-op store will sell snacks, beverages that range in price from 50 cents to $2. Novelties range from $2 to $10.You will set up and run your own co-op store and will need to bring some money to purchase items sold. The suggested amount that campers should bring is $20.

  • Shoes suitable for hiking/water
  • Rain jack

What Not to Bring:

  • Stereos, MP3 players, cell phone, video games or computers. All electronics will be confiscated and returned at the end of camp.
  • Candy and snacks

Welcome to the 2017 Arrowpeak Camp page! Below are dates for this year’s camp. Join us at Arrowpeak Camp in the Highwood Mountains. Meet new friends, learn about cooperatives and develop leadership skills. Camp is packed with daily activities including crafts, dances, nature hikes, workshops, and FUN!

 Appreciation Night

Parents are welcome to join in the last night of festivities on Thursday, June 22nd and July 13th. The evening will start with dinner at 6:00. Parents are welcome to stay for the evening to join us for skits and dances.You can even stay in one of the private cabins on the property. RSVPs are required and cabins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a fee of $10 per cabin.

Directions to Arrowpeak Camp/Lodge

Route 1

1.)   Take 10th Ave. S. east out of town, 10th Ave. S. turns into US-89 S / MT-200    Continue to follow US-89 S / MT-200 E for 3 miles.

2.)    Turn Left onto HWY 228 heading towards Highwood.

3.)   Travel 14 miles on HWY 228 until you reach the intersection of  228 and 331. Stop at the intersection; continue straight onto the gravel road.

4.)   Follow this gravel road for 10 miles until you reach a “T” in the road. Look for MFU Camp sign and take a right at the “T”

5.)   After the “T” drive 6 miles on the gravel road

6.)   MFU Arrowpeak sign is on the right side of the road, cross the bridge and camp is about ¼ mile up the hill.

Route 2( if raining/muddy roads)

Directions: Take 10th Ave South east out of town. It turns into US-89 S /MT 200 E as you leave Great Falls. Continue for 3 miles. Turn Left onto Hwy 228 towards Highwood. Travel 12 miles on Hwy 228 until you reach the intersection of Hwy 228 & 331. Stop at the intersection and TURN LEFT and go towards Highwood. Travel approximately six-seven miles. TURN RIGHT on to Upper Highwood Creek Road. Take that gravel road six miles to a Y. At the Y TURN LEFT and follow that gravel road six miles to our bridge. Cross the bridge and the Arrowpeak Lodge is about 1/4 mile up the hill. There will be road signs about every three miles on the gravel road leading you to the lodge.
